IAAPA Attractions Expo showcases the future of the global attractions industry

Global attractions industry professionals will this week be able to view the latest innovations at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Attractions Expo 2017, the premier conference and trade show for the $39.5 billion worldwide attractions industry.

Being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida, USA, the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2017 is showcasing new rides, immersive attractions, VR experiences and emerging technologies between Monday 14th and Friday 17th November.

The largest international annual gathering for the industry, the Expo brings together every facet of the global theme park and attractions business attracting visitors from all over the world to discover new trends and make investment decisions.

More than 65 new experiences are to be announced at the Expo 2017, among more than 1,000 exhibiting companies showcasing the future of rollercoaster design and dark ride development alongside new water slides and immersive experiences.

Exhibitors also include food and beverage product, theming and design, recreation attractions and ticketing technology.

Australians and New Zealanders attending the Expo are invited to an informal networking event the bar of the Rosen Centre (9840 International Drive, opposite the Convention Centre) commencing at 6:30pm on Wednesday 15th November.

IAAPA Attractions Expo 2017 New Products (companies presented in alphabetical order)

Booth 4364 
Alberici
showcases a new product line of Jumbo illuminated push-buttons that improve guest tactile feedback, enhance visibility for easier reading, and strengthen overall guest satisfaction for commercial payment systems. 

Booth 3110 
Amaze 'n Mazes
introduces a new imaginative maze concept that includes information and fun facts about local wildlife on its exterior panels. The maze features a slide, mini zip line, trapeze, and monkey bars within the its twisting, creative labyrinth.

Aquatic Development Group
announces Adventure Lagoon, a skill-based interactive water play adventure combining an inflatable obstacle course, river crossing, and rock wall all in one exciting attraction. 

Booth 3754 
BirdBuffer LLC
provides innovative products to help with bothersome birds in attraction food areas. The products emit a safe, grape-scented vapor that keeps birds away from guest areas. 

Booth 2075 
Breeze Creative
offers an innovative new product allowing children to draw and color and then watch their designs come to life on a giant wall-sized virtual experience. The product offers easy set-up and customizable content to fit the needs of a space and theme.

Chance Rides
unveils the Unicoaster 2.0, the first interactive roller coaster of its kind that allows riders to choose the thrill of a looping coaster or the mild ride of a family coaster. In addition, the classic C.P. Huntington train is available for purchase in an electric, solar-battery powered option. In-station, auto-charging provides all-day operation with zero emissions.

debuts several new special-effects machines including: new Snow-Star laser snow machine; the Maniac II LED moveable head fogger; the BubbleMax Auto-fill machine; the Quiet Cube snow machine, and more.

debuts the Aquaticar™ Experience, the world's first underwater driving adventure. Guests drive futuristic vehicles powered by a proprietary Bubble Engine™ through an underwater world themed for any concept - from a teeming coral reef to a rugged Mars landscape and more.

introduces a new Eclipse Photo Booth that offers a curved 12-foot external LED screen. Interactive capabilities and the option to customize the background give customers the ability to take photos from any virtual location. The photo booth also provides instant access to photos on customer smartphones.

debuts the all-new Cloud Coaster™ with new track and cart design, providing a faster coaster experience with enhanced track layouts.

FetchRev
announces the next iteration of its revenue generation and customer retention software for family entertainment centers (FECs). Introducing FIDO, FetchRev's fully automated system, "Buy Now" offers and "Claim Now" coupons, will not only save FEC owners time, but increase their current conversions by 200 percent.

introduces Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride, an attendant-free virtual reality attraction that operates like a coin-operated game. Based on the Ubisoft license "Rabbids," and featuring premium state-of-the-art headsets, accurate motion base by D-BOX, and dynamic wind simulation, Virtual Rabbids is an experience for all ages.

in partnership with Silver Dollar City and Herschend Family Entertainment will reveal the ride vehicle for its newest thrill ride, "Time Traveler" a complete-circuit spinning roller coaster.

one of world's leading manufacturers of inflatable attractions, introduces a unique 45' H2Obstacle Course Wet/Dry attraction, a combination "obstacle course" and "water slide." The attraction features an innovative patent-pending "hidden stopper" feature for wet/dry slides, and new-to-market DuraBounce™ fabric exclusive for family entertainment center inflatables.

debuts the MMOne Virtual Reality (VR) Simulator, a fully interactive, 360-degree virtual reality simulator. Using a dynamic three-axis assembly and powerful zero latency configuration, the MMOne enhances the VR experience by delivering an intense combination of movements and interactions.

debuts Photon HoloImager, a display device that provides the opportunity for animated effects to emerge from the flat surfaces of a chamber and move through holographic space. Utilizing unique PeopleVision technologies, the device can use live action, animation, and prerecorded content to captivate audiences and create a deep involvement with any story.

unveils a new digital content platform that creates, collates, and shares photo and video moments for enhanced consumer experiences. 

Booth 1691 
First-time exhibitor Racket Studios introduces a sound proof kiosk for video karaoke recordings. Guests can step into a Racket Studio, put headphones on, and make a high definition audio/video recording of their favorite song that then can be texted to their personal smartphone.
