Debitsuccess delivers 12% increase in revenue to Goodlife’s rebranded former Go Health clubs

The Fitness and Lifestyle Group’s rebranding of former Go Health clubs as Goodlife Health Clubs has also seen the six clubs migrate from their previous payment and software providers to Debitsuccess and Clubware solutions.

The Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG), which includes Goodlife’s 85 clubs with over 270,000 members, acquired Brisbane-based Go Health clubs in October 2017 and in July 2018 rebranded them under the Goodlife banner.

Advising that the migration has provided benefits for both the clubs and their members, FLG Chief Financial Officer, Adam Leake stated “the move to Debitsuccess and Clubware means increased flexibility for members by allowing them to choose the payment frequency and day that suits them.

“In addition, Debitsuccess provides comprehensive follow up of any failed payments with SMS, emails and phone calls, allowing our team to focus on our operations and customer service.

“The result is a forecasted 12% increase in annual revenue but more importantly this approach puts customer needs at the centre of our operations.”

Davin Miller, Chief Executive of TSG Australasia, owner of Debitsuccess and Clubware, says the seamless integration between Clubware and Debitsuccess is key to the success.

Miller advised “this total business and revenue management solution facilitates better customer/member service and a unified view of the customer between club staff and Debitsuccess.

“The robust data integrity means quality analytics can be provided to the club and management to help them administer their business.”

This solution has also removed significant administration overheads for these six clubs as Debitsuccess handles all the payment related customer contacts on Goodlife’s behalf through its contact centre which has best-in-class service delivery levels.

Leake adds “with flexible payment options, effective communication, and confidence in security and technology, these Goodlife Health Clubs are able to focus on their offerings and members, supporting them to live healthier, happier and more active lives.”

FLG comprises more than 470 health clubs, including the Goodlife, Fitness First, Zap and Jetts brands.

Across Australia it has over 725,000 members, 25,000 online program subscribers and 6,500 employees.
